The translate5 windows installer installs OpenTM2 as a windows service along with translate5. The Linux installer just downloads OpenTM2 for you - it needs to be installed manually on windows and manually configured for use with translate5. The translate5 updater updates OpenTM2 on windows and downloads the newest OpenTM2 version on Linux.
