Overview
In translate5, central configurations for the use and behaviour of the system can be made via the Preferences. Depending on user role and authorization, different options are available to you – from general system and user rights settings to specific configurations for workflows, import or editor functions – all options are clearly structured and can be managed centrally. This means that ease of use and functionality can be optimized for all your use cases.
This page provides an overview of the various Preferences areas and refers to further explanations of the respective options and their effects.

My Settings

In the “My settings” area, you can:
- Change your password,
- select a theme for your personal translate5 layout,
- change the display language of translate5.

In order to change your password, enter your current password in the “Old password” field. Then enter your new password in the “Password” field and in the “Password control” field.
Please note that the new password must fulfil all the following requirements:
- Minimum password length: 12 characters;
- Contain at least 1 number;
- at least one lower case letter;
- at least one upper case letter.
- The password must not contain any of the words (regardless of whether they are case-sensitive) from the list below.
